I thought the eggs are not going to hatch because its already 2 days after the hatch day! Do not do this with your zebra finches eggs wait until 3-4 days after the hatch day!

The first one you got out of the egg should have been put back in the brooder so it wasn’t getting cold while you were doing whatever you were doing with the underdeveloped baby.

Try candleling the eggs by flashing a light on the eggs if its clear yellow its infertile but if its red or black then it has a baby inside

Just make sure to touch bird seeds first just play with the bird seeds with your hand so the smell will be familiar for the bird

My finch layed 8 eggs and 2 of them she destroyed herself...left with 6 now.. hope they hatches and babies comes out soon...✌️🤞
