Why he will take bishop by queen? If opponent can take the bishop by knight... This is not a good chess only newbies can get trapped on this... Newbies not beginners....
It’s misleading. Only 24.8 percent of players fall for it. Also 3 hours to memorise one line is a long time. It took me 10 minutes to memorise the whole of the Leningrad mainline
I don't think people would play bishop attacks queen. They'd simply bring their knight out. So that if the queen takes the rook, then we will win a queen.
Quick word of advice this trick will work only in a few cases otherwise it will not work so I suggest anyone that’s new to chess to begin with practising openings
Don't practice this strategy try to play whatever you want until you become good at chess, than automatically your hands start moves as per your strategy 😅
I’ve had this opportunity come a handful of times we different levels. Nobody is defending with the queen. If not for fear of checkmate, for losing the rook.
What do you think will happen if the enemy's Bishop happens to attack your Bishop? Then you definitely lose your 8 moves Checkmate. That made me curious...
no the best move for white to play when queen gives a check is knight to c 6 because when he takes our bishop then c6 knight to d 4 attacking the queen and when he saves the queen there is no way to stop a king and rook fork on c2.
Whoever plays D4 instead of E4, 90% of chance that he knows about this trap and he end up developing his all pieces and while you running your queen on board to save her ass for such early out!!
remember guys englund gambit gives 1.5 advantage to white so if white plays solid he gonna win the game easily, at high level people don't get trap in this gambit
If white plays Nc3 instead for Bc3, I think the position will be terrible of black, not recommended. The c7 pawn could be later attacked, and I don’t see a comfortable position for the queen.
What if he blocks with knight and when you capture his bishop.he can put his knight aside to his pawn attacking queen and pawn and when we save queen we can't save our rook
I found that this trick is a bit pointless because if black bishop kills the white bishop then the white knight will kill the black bishop , then the black queen will kill the white rook and then for defence the white queen will come one step back and the black queen can kill white queen but at this moment it will be a queen for a queen game , and the game will go a long way. I am not saying that this trick is completely pointless but if your opponent is strong then u should never try this type of tricks, it may help u to collect more points in the starting but eventually it may backfire u , so check these tricks properly and then play it against your opponents
This won't work bcoz instead of bishop my opponent moved his knight near my queen... So I had no choice but to go back or else I would have lose my queen!
