The Panther line of ski and performance boats was built by Quinn’s Marina in Pefferlaw, Ontario. While these boats were branded Panthers, they were essentially Checkmates. That’s because when Checkmate was updating models, they sold the old moulds to Quinn’s. They then renamed their Canadian built boats, Panthers.
@@rickparry3156 yessir great boats. Essentially checkmates just Canadian made. I have a 1990 20 foot with 200 merc dancing across the lake at speeds of 70mph. LOVE the boat. Also second owner believe it or not
Back in 1981 I had a 1979 blue sparkle 16 predictor with 140 mercury tower of power six premix no fancy oil injection what a ride loved that thing but friends lost interest in going so I sold it in 1985 with a profit if I knew then what I know now I would’ve kept it lessons learned
