He was recruiting people at church even had pastors recruiting for him. I was invited to one of his seminars by my cell group pastor who was buddy buddy with Louis. Needless to say it ended in tears for many.

Pastors are also partly to blame for such issues because I am in RichardBay and our Pastor had a "trader" come through with his entourage including bodyguards...just all extravagant & this fraudster stood in the pulpit and told us that God had sent him to our congregation to bring wealth!!!! & our pastor was in the corner shouting " JESUS!!!". My dad had just retired from Spoornet and wanted to start a farming business. He sold our newly renovated house,added some of his savings and gave all his money to this trader with the expectation of millions in returns ( I MEANS MILLIONS)..he never saw a cent of it and died from a stroke a year later from the stress. We had moved to his " farm site" but the was no descent building, life became tough really really tough to this day our family was never the same. We had to downgrade & adjust to a rural life of poverty & there is still so much resentment for my dad's poor decision making especially because no one from church came to our aid

I once got into his Live session on Instagram and tried to warn people about this crook I was so ridiculed, called all sorts of names and insults. I honestly don’t feel sorry for any victims who fell into his trap, FYI I’m also a victim long before he was arrested 😢

There has been so many exposés about these types of scams, but people still fall for them, it's time we stop blaming the scammers. People want quick riches, just like how they want to get high, get drunk and get behind the wheel. Arrive alive have been advertising for years on safe driving but still year in and year out people still die on the roads because of their own negligence .
