This is exactly what I was looking for. Im a bit apprehensive about ordering the bag since there isnt a whole lot of history there and reviews do leave a little to be desired. Though there is always more to the story. Thanks for the great review.

Hi Danny! Thanks for your great reviews (I watch them a lot more than the other channels personally). Do you personally prefer the Aer City Pack Pro or this bag? I have the Aer bag and was unsure if I should consider this one instead for the more casual look.

I might lean slightly towards this one due to the luggage pass though orientation and the simpler layout, but I do think the city pack pro is a little more comfortable and versatile with the clamshell opening if you want to use it as a minimal travel bag

Hi Danny, thanks for the good review as always. Interested in this bag, as you say it surprisingly ticks a lot of the boxes. Just nervous about the harness system, that back panel and straps seem very firm, you said it was comfortable overall but can I probe you for a bit more detail? Worried how it would carry under load.

I think the bag is comfortable under load and offers a good amount of support, the padding is more rigid than I typically prefer (so not like the soft air mesh on an aer backpack for example). I’ve seen a few different opinions on what people prefer so it really just depends on overall preference
Thank you for watching and good question! Unfortunately it doesn’t stand super consistently (so it does sometimes if the weight is distributed just right but if I grab something out of the bag there’s a good chance it will tip so I still end up leaning it most of the time)

Any bag suggestions that are similar to this bag but just with more storage?! Been having a hard time finding a good minimalist look bag with both a laptop and tablet sleeve
Thank you for watching! The jester has more spacious water bottle pockets and I slightly prefer the back panel but overall I think this one is better overall (more durable, dedicated laptop compartment and I prefer the organizational layout
