@@myad1ani no 💋 at the end of the day if this was a real competition they probably would have got disqualified for disturbance of another team as i know this because I am a dancer myself
The disrespect was uncalled for. The pointing from EACH squad while the other team performed, one team walking away, and the crowd throwing something at the end. This should have been friendly competition. I was a captain, so I believe That the captains from each squad have an obligation as leaders to set rules (do’s & don’t), thus possibly avoiding a fight with the other squad and respecting what each squad brings to the floor, which will set the tone of the crowd.
Ew. The unsportsmanlike conduct from the team on the right is disgusting. I love ftpa and follow them on IG! Although this was a battle, picking on the ftpa cheerleaders while they're cheering, moving past the barrier that was made to seperate the two during the battle plus the pom pom throw at the end was extremely distasteful. Plus, all the other team's cheers appeared to be from another school anyway☕️ so in my opinion, FTPA won due to class as well as cheers.
I love seeing these battles, so that I can teach my young squad how to do battle cheers, if stealing is what it is called then were all guilty. you can take a cheer and make it your own. my opinion
Yo the other squad on the right just throw some shade at Friendship Prep. That’s fine Friendship Tech still my favorite, it’s nice to see both team came together to do this fun friendly rival.
Hello! Stomp and Shake is coined in North Carolina (specifically Charlotte), however it recent years it has spiraled out into many regions in the Northeast. Both teams above are from Washington, DC.
Friendship Tech Prep Cheerleading Hello, I am a Cheer Coordinator for a Texas youth team. This style of cheer is new to me but I love it. I would like to include this style into my program but don't know the background of this style or were to start. Is there any way possible I could email you for help?
Lol smh these high school squads need to do better and stop stealing everybody cheers ... I saw Winston, and Harding University High in each squad cheers ... how y’all acting like y’all did something when everything is STOLEN!
dizznikkak09 Yes..two of our cheers are from Winston-Salem State University. We’re highly influenced by various HBCU’s cheer programs because we believe in a college-going culture by way of cheerleading. As a result we often have our spin off to many college cheers. We don’t steal -we embrace.
dizznikkak09 I think what Friendship Tech is saying that they believe in cheer unity like a coach I met watching cheer videos on RU-vid. Does Twosockz sound familiar? He filmed the cheerleaders at Dudley High.
Before you make statements maybe you should do some research. When a high school team does a cheer done my a collegiate or university team it is called paying homage to the originator. Nothing in cheer is stolen. Only rebuilt and revamped. Everyone knows Winston Salem did these cheers originally which is why they are legendary in the cheer world.
The sportsmanship was horrible.. the booing was ridiculous. The ppl booing need to grow up and I think all these ladies did great! But the right team sportsmanship is just plain right horrible and just ew.
Instead of cheer battle, how about black women come together and cheer to solve problems in the black community. This video is another example of why black people are in our current state economic
You sound a hot mess. Black women can do BOTH. Cheering like any team activity, BUILDS TEAMWORK/COLLECTIVE SKILLS, ORGANIZATION, UNITY AND LEADERSHIP BUILDING. All the building blocks to do exactly what you said. The cheer battles are for fun and entertainment. Go tell white people this shit. Oh, but you won't.
