For anybody curious, this is the old Texas Rangers stadium. After the new one opened in 2020, this one got repurposed for football. Got to perform there for a game while I was in the marching band. It was surreal.

I played with a guy who was 6ft 9, 470lbs. His name was Eric Spiekerman out of Wisconsin and he was the biggest recruit in the nation in 2006. They wanted him to redshirt and lose 100lbs in a year but he kept having knee problems and it never ended up working out for him

Wylie East is in Wylie TX and not even a part of Dallas County. Its a small(ish) town roughly 20-25 miles due north east of Dallas. Wylie East opened 15 years ago as the 2nd HS in Wylie so kudos to their football program for putting up 20 on them DeSoto super stars!!
