Fun Fact: Michael Richards obviously went on to big fame on Seinfeld, but he also co-starred with Rhea Perlman and future Cheers star Kirstie Alley on the really awful sitcom Kirstie in 2013.
Remember the episode never knew it was Kramer. I guess Michael Richards wasnt anyone when he did this bit. Wasnt he on a comedy show called Fridays before this episode
If you watch the whole episode, there is no comedy in the beginning -- he actually threatens to kill Sam. He plays it straight, too... it's the most dramatic I've ever seen on an episode of Cheers.
Now I'm imagining a version of Seinfeld from the mid 80s where Richards is the Jerry character and Jerry is the Kramer character.....and Jason Alexander has a full head of hair
You guys have no sense humor then so ya know , one of the funniest shows, just so you remember on for 11 years a lot people thought it was funny except you 2 comedians 😂🎭🤪🤡
Look at Kramer. He was sharp asf before Seinfeld. He could totally get it. If there wasn't a possibility of him being racist again, I'd willingly go back in time just to let him have it
Michael Richards is actually an extremely articulate man both then and now, which made his on stage meltdown all the more unbelievable. He intentionally wore undersized clothes from the 70s because in his mind the character of Kramer had not gone shopping for clothes in 20 years, which gave him a comical dated appearance. Michael was easily the best actor on Seinfeld.
