Dang, miss this show. Stark reminder of how fun, funny, and clever tv used to be capable of being. Was so sorry to see her leave the show, but it was changing its tone a lot at the time into becoming far more nasty and much less fun, and it was especially nasty towards Diane. Got a bit depressing, really, and lost a lot of what was so great about that show.
While always funny (as "Cheers" so consistently was), it drives me bonkers that in the last exchange Diane pronounces "demur" (dih-mur) as "demure" (dih-myoor), a word with a completely different meaning.
