The spanners in the tool kit are too loosen the coupler so U can take the flex shaft out and greese it

Get a small tube of water proof all purpose greese from super cheap and just put a bit on the shaft and spread it out

And make sure U go over it and check all the screws are tight before you go out each time

We have had a lot of luck with distance with this boat. I would say that it can go out about 300 feet or so... That's just our experience with it, but both of the versions we use have about the same range. The controller will start to beep when it gets too far and has a weak signal

The flex shaft comes out of the box dry on these you are meant to grease it before you use it

Thank you for the heads up! Upon checking it out, I can confirm that this one came greased. Also, at the end of the video you can see the factory grease was thrown around in the hull of the boat.
