Recipe :
Cheese Masala Macaroni
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 cups Macaroni
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp chopped garlic
½ cup chopped onion
Salt to taste
1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp pav bhaji masala
1 cup tomato puree
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 capsicum
¼ cup cream
¼ cup grated cheese
Chili flakes
Method:
Boil 1 liter water. Add 2 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil. Add the macaroni to boiling water and cook for 3-4 minutes or till al dante. Drain, refresh with cold water, add 1 tbsp oil to drained macaroni and mix well.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the chopped garlic and sauté till translucent. Add the chopped onions, salt and sauté till the onion is translucent.
Add in the spices and mix well. Add the tomato puree and mix well. Add the tomato ketchup and mix well. Add the diced capsicum, boiled macaroni , half the cheese, and mix well. Finish with the cream and remove to the serving bowl. Cover with the remaining cheese and microwave for 1 minute.
Serve!
