He could hear limmy the whole time, props for keeping it professional when limmy rudely called the poor bloke an asshole. he’s just doing his job. He’s innocent men.
Incredible how good these are, just one guy and one camera, written, scored and edited by the same one guy. Better than most stuff with a full cast and big budget. You have to appreciate Limmy's talent.
Last guy is right about toastin’ the bread first, then puttin’ on the cheese ‘n’ grillin’ it again. For evenly toasted/grilled toast ‘n’ that. Cheese won’t soak through the bread ‘n’ all.
@erdemc It doesn’t. Only got to lightly toast it before the cheese. Make sure to cover the whole slice with the cheese. Crust to crust, corner to corner. I usually add a bit of mango chutney or lime pickle. Sweet asf.
The last guy sounds like my old man who was making cheese on toast up till his last days, was adament about melting it a bit adding onions then adding more cheese to encase them in a cheddar catacomb. Anyway miss you big man gbnf
I really admire Limmy's ability to become the characters so well. Watching how he uses language, facial expressions, voices and body language really send home his ability not just as a comedian but as a skilled actor. He's really good.
Don't let him say you're wrong mate: "Physical comedy is a form of comedy focused on manipulation of the body for a humorous effect. It can include slapstick, clowning, mime, physical stunts, or making funny faces".
Lightly toast the bread stick on three/four thick slices of cheese wee splash of Lea & Perrins under grill under cheese bubbles wee grind of fresh black pepper tiny spread with a knife to hit all corners Roasted cheese
Limmy is so talented, dude. He has an impressive ability to depict very realistic characters even without using costumes, makeup ect. He can portray them perfectly only using his voice and mannerisms. He's not only a gifted comedian but he's an excellent storyteller and character writer, fucking impressive.
"You call it what?!?!" _"Space Cheesy. Cos you know, you put the cheese on the bread and you stick it under the grill in a house on a street on a planet in our solar.."_ "Shut up."
Roasted cheese all the way! and definitely toast the bread first so it doesn't go soggy haha, not all the way toasted just a wee 1 or 2 mins........limmys the best 🎉so happy for the new videos 😂
Yeah you defo have to pre toast the bread a little like stick it on one and a half and the press the cancel button at like 53 seconds and if the toaster hasn’t got a cancel then unplug the whole thing to cancel the cooking time and yes I do use the toaster and then use the grill for the cheese melting part, cause you don’t get an even cook on both sides of the bread in the grill for the pre cheese part that’s what the toaster is for!!
You somehow can imagine Limmy sittin somewhere, creating this in his mind, hating every phrase of it but starting to like the idea to make it a sketch just out of pure hatred.
I've lived in Scotland for nearly 20 years and everyone in this area calls it toast on cheese. Same with other sandwich things - roll on sausage... piece on jam...
I like to butter the bread first, then mostly toast it, then add grated cheese, then toast until the cheese is bubbling. If I'm lazy, I toast some bread in a toaster, then melt some cheese in a cup in the microwave and tip it on the toast.
Cheese Toast in my house, although I believe my father called it "roasted cheese" as he grew up in the Scheme (yes the actual one on the telly, but in the 60s, so it was actually ok).
