En Argentina las pizzas suelen ser así siempre , con mucho queso, especialmente en las pizzerías tradicionales de Buenos Aires donde se especializan en la pizza "al molde", muy altas y con mucho queso. Algunos ejemplos de pizzerías son Guerrin, Kentucky, Los Inmortales, El cuartito... Pero igual en cualquier pizzería de barrio, aunque no sea un lugar famoso sino un negocio familiar y local se hace con mucho queso.
