Cheesy Meaty Chili Mac Recipe (Kids Love It)

This is the chili mac recipe that my kids love. Super simple, cheesy, meaty macaroni noodles. An easy weeknight meal that cooks up in about 30 minutes. Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching.
Ingredients:
Ground beef 90% lean - 1.5 lbs
Elbow macaroni - 1 lb
Tomato sauce - 1 18oz can
Cheddar cheese - shredded, approx 5oz
Approx 1 teaspoon each of: salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder.
Add more chili powder to taste.

My husband found your chili video and enjoyed it. I watched a few other videos and have thoroughly enjoyed watching someone make a well balanced meal. (It’s priority in my house) Not a lot of people do that anymore! At least I’m not the only one! I’m a fan, and will continue to watch because of this.

I love your dialog. Priceless. I'm a fan. Your chili and beans were great. The chicken stew will be my next order of the day. I had to order the Bandia brand seasoning. Just got it from Amazon. I'll make it soon. I have a whole chicken and I think I will make some chicken noodle soup. With some of the chicken, I will make the chicken stew.

You can't find the hamburger helper chili mac any more. I haven't seen it on the shelfs in stores in my area for several years. I always liked to add shredded cheese to that too.

I used no salt added tomato sauce and no saltbrotel here. I used a no salt alternative to salt and the only sodium I used here was in the cheese. Very healthy.

This is not healthy food. Pasta and beef are much worse for your health than salt.

So i make a box of thick and creamy kraft macaroni (it has actual thicker elbow noodles with a cheese powder that actually thickens up), then I mix in a can of wolf brand no bean chili (real chili does NOT have beans in it, this is a hill i am prepared to die on), and sometimes I may add a can of corn if I want a lil crunch in it

Cook the noodles in the sauce just add stock to your meat, the noodles will be more flavorful!

I wouldn't say this is heart attack on a plate. You used lean ground beef and you added no fat other than the cheese. Yes sodium levels are probably high with all the different spice blends you used. That is why I prefer to have diced onions and fresh minced garlic instead of the powders. I also dice some green or red peppers and add to the stewing process.

Was way to much salt 😢 I added sugar to calm the salty taste down so I didn't ruin it .. but other then that it's great ty

Looks friggin good. But, as a plumber, run cold water in drain beside the other sink so boiling water isn’t going directly down drain, hard on the plastic parts, they are getting so cheap nowadays, it’ll save in the piping ect.
