This looked absolutely delicious, but the only disservice you did, was not using the handle on the mandolin. I thought it was a OG gangster and thought I was all hot $hit and decided not to use it one time and cut the tip off my finger. It was horrible. I thought I had so much space, but I ended up cutting on an angle and I didn't realize it and boom it happened. So please, please in the future for people who aren't professionals and who are replicating this at home, please use the handle on the mandolin. I'm sorry to be a Karen about this, but it just worries me that someone will do the same thing as I did, stupidly. Remember, we're not professional like you are.👍
2 of my favs are the sweet potato casserole/mashed potatoes side dish & the corn casserole dish (probably has a name) that tastes like dessert, which both probably has enough sugar to be so! I'm a sugar addict obvi! 😢

This looks amazing! You said you though it was missing something and I'm a cheese sauce queen! Try a couple of bay leaves in the milk while it warms and some Colmans Mustard Powder, the one in a yellow tin. Goes fantastic in cheese sauce with a grate of fresh nutmeg 🥰
My trick to making my scalloped potatoes even better is adding a half cup of Jarlsberg Cheese Dip to the sauce (you can buy it at Ralphs in the deli section). It's honestly the perfect addition, and everyone will want to know your secret. Trust me.

Just a tip nutmeg enhances cheese flavour so always add a pinch in any cheese sauce. Trust me once you do it you will taste the difference without it.i know it sounds weird but it works.
Will it work with vegan butter and vegan cheeses together with the oatly for people who can't take dairy at all? But THAT LOOKS SUPER GOOD!! #farnumdiditagain
like I do when i make my homemade mac n cheese... i add 2oz of gorgonzola to my 8oz each of the other 3 cheeses i use..so i would try adding about 1 to 1 ½oz of blue/gorg to your cheese sauce...see how that elevates your taters!
I love cheese and potatoes, I think I would defo like this. There is a tip for not getting teary eyed while chopping onions, I think it was a soaked paper towel on the chopping board, I’m not sure it works, could u try it so I know if it works or not, sometimes I don’t trust people on the internet but I trust u 😂 Not going to lie, but I thought u were using that fake cheese again, thank god u didn’t 😂😂
@@jackydoggie probably. Might change the texture of the whole cheese sauce. Gluten free flour isn’t forgiving at all. Just wanted to see some gf recipes in general because he makes bomb stuff and I’m new at gf.

Ufffff. That mandolin is giving me PTSD!!! I chopped off the tip of my thumb for not using the handle or safety gloves. The potatoes look fire but, will I be brave enough to use my mandolin again 😅??? Ughhhhh!
