At first I was worried it was gonna be slower than those herbivores and got concerned. Then I realized it wasn't the full sprint. I hope that to be accurate to real life they make it so the cheetah can only sprint full speed for a few seconds before it starts to overheat and take damage.
it should be smth between the realistic cheeetah stamina and a good working fun to play animal cause it probably wont be that fun if it is 100% realistic
@@catpoke9557They can only run for about 1 minute. They should make a toggle/hold for full speed so you don't always run at full speed if you want to get somewhere.
@@sanjithesimp1486 not my problem that u lack imagination u probs shouldn’t be looking into survival games where u have to grow and not die it’s probably boring to u
Sounds realistic. Irl after a 300-400m run it takes them about 20-30 minutes to restore their breath and cool down the body, otherwise they'll get a heart attack 😅
you are right but if the devs really make it 20 to 30 minutes many players will complain because it takes so long to restore stamina and the devs has to shorten it. :)@@forsakenoverture128
@@AhmedBabiker-sr8fl I said nothing about the time, only the distance. They will get a heart attack if they run for too long, it's biology and a fact. At the maximum speed they can run from 40seconds to 1 minute (but usually they run no longer than 40-50secs), and that's the reason they often stay without the meal. Such high speed requires tons of energy, which makes the entire body overheart and heart races to the point the animal literally burns itself from the within. Google is at your service, my friend.
@@forsakenoverture128 Google also says that the tests that were conducted on testing the body temperatures of a cheetah were deeply flawed. The cheetah isn’t your shitty 10 year old laptop struggling to run excell, it’s an animal part of a family where every single species is famous for 1 thing; being lazy as FUCK. Well, the label lazy is not correct, but they very easily abandon hunts that don’t heavily favour them, because why waste precious calories chasing after the young and healthy prey that you *could* probably catch after a while, when you can easily locate prey that is old or sickly or for whatever other reason less alert, which you can catch after like 10 seconds of pursuing opposed to 40. So it’s more like. Yeah you *could* put all that extra energy into one chase without dying from exhaustion, but what’s the point when you have an insane success hunting rate of 58% and 1 of 11 of your kills get stolen by most other predators anyways. Motivating a cheetah to run at top speed as long as possible in a controlled enviroment is nigh impossible- we can probably guess that it physically cannot maintain top speed for long compared to idk canids, but a cheetah is not a human olympic sportsman it won’t bother giving you it’s absolute physical prowess but that doesn’t mean it will combust and explode if it runs at top speed for like 3 minutes. If it gave every chase all it’s effort constantly, it would have gone extinct a long time ago
Fun fact: Cheetahs have to get as close to their prey as possible before making their move, as a cheetah can only sprint for a short time. If they exceed their limit, they could quite literally fry their brain. They cannot self cool themselves as they run like most herbivorous animals can.
Cheetahs can only run very fast for a short time, so they must get their prey as they can. Otherwise, its prey will get make a get away, and the predator will get tired
@@apple4893 Probably when the game comes out, just like you said, the cheetahs will run at their maximum speed, while their staminas will completely melt in 15 seconds and fill up again late. It would certainly be very realistic if they did it this way
They should make the cheetah’s stamina run out fairly quickly though. In real life they can only give chase for a little or they overheat and run the risk of dying.
Now they just need to buff the gaz speed alittle and make sure that cheetahs can’t just deal a lot of damage , since cheetahs are weaker then other big cats , relying on their speed to make prey tired of running and then suffocating them
I see where you are heading, but something to note is that a cheetah does not run their prey out of stam. The cheetah, as you said, does not have a ton of strength, and thus relies on speed to catch it's prey, swipping their legs out from under them, and then dealing the windpipe crushing blow to the neck. If the cheetah was going to run their prey to exhaustion, why would it need it's speed? Wolves us the "run them till they are too tired to fight back" strat. Shoot, the African wild dog uses that strat even better than wolves. No, cheetah is an assassin. They, like most wild preditors of the Felidae genius, use stealth to get as close to their target and then finish their prey as soon as possible. Cheetahs use their speed to catch fast and nimble tompson's gazelle, while other cats, like Tigers, use stealth and then pounce or chase their target a short distance, using their strength to grapple, or grab their prey and then deliver a kill shot. Lions use pack hunting tactics, Leopards use stealth similar to tigers, however leopards are also incredible climbers and use the trees to strike from above when they get the chance. the list goes on. Moral of the story. The cheetah needs to be faster than the gazelle, and it needs to have a trip function that works on lighter herbivores to then grapple them and kill them, but it should not have stam to run at top speed for more than 30 seconds. All of this only matters, however, if realizim is the focus.
@@o0alias0oOne of the most notable facts about a cheetah is their acceleration. Also, I highly doubt that making the cheetah reach top speed 2 seconds earlier will change anything for the worse.
I mean, its already full of weaknesses. Low HP low defense, plus it aint an Apex. Lions would most likely have a faster acceleration like irl. Theres good quality videos that show how insanely fast lions are in acceleration and hunting cheetas
I recommend they put a 60 second timer for the full sped run and haveing the cheetah be as fast as the gazelle as they almost both reach the speed limit together ❤
Imagine a huge mob of animals being mad at this cheeta for kosing and then the cheeta see’s the mob and is like “oh noooo~ you caught meeee” *sarcasticly* “SEE YA MFS!” *JUMPS OFF CLIFF AND IS SO FAST IT RUNS ON AIR*
Ooohhh, that looks fun. If it's realistic though, the stamina will only be good for short bursts and won't be winning any marathons. This Game looks beautiful too 😍
This is the kind of game I dreamt of my entire childhood. I'm 29. I'll still buy this if its a complete game and not a work in progress for years like animalia and the isle.
i imagine cheetas and lions would work together where cheetas would quickly intercept to slow zebras quicker then any lion could so the lions can catch up and kill it and they all share the reward
I think the stamina drain will be pretty fast. In real life if they dont have their prey at full speed in like 15-20 seconds they already slowimg down more and more. But if lions chasing you and you go fullspeed they probably lose sight on you in that time. Eitherway cant wait till it comes to console!
Lol people think the cheetah is gonna be unstoppable....until you release they are making it realistic so the cheetah will probably have horrible stamina and be a glass cannon and probably most beneficial if you hunt in packs
Fast but if it’s anything like cheetahs in real life, that will be countered by a relatively poor stamina pool and stamina recovery. So if a cheetah is not careful in this game, a pride of lions could easily hunt it down by just following it until it looses stamina and chasing the cheetah down one by one, so at least one person in the pride always have stamina to keep the hunt going.
@@shinigamigaming2941 The max time for a cheetah running full speed is 30 seconds, usually lower because it's hot outside. They can only go this long on a good day. You are right that they don't always run at full speed, though. It's basically their trump card. They run full speed when they have to, but only when they have to. They prefer to get up close to ambush their prey rather than needing to run them down like this. Unfortunately though it's hard for them to get close because their prey knows the cheetah can run faster than themselves- so they are on high alert and often notice the cheetah before it gets too close, and the cheetah is at that point forced to use full speed, which will wear it down- which is why it doesn't have a very high success rate in hunting.
