Sounds like something cheap and simple to make. I don't think we ever had something like that in Canada my dad said he heard of it but people might have just bought it from the states I live in a Border Town. To me it looks really plain and boring no pepperoni on it I guess you could add your own Thanks for watching and commenting
This was from an era when pizza shops were as scarce as Big Foot. I remember this stuff very well and have tried it a few times over the last many years. The PROs are it's easy to make and the sauce is really good. The CONs are that the crust is a bit spongy and the cheese smells so pukey that I actually has neighbors complain about the smell.
Wow, I wonder why the cheese is so gross. yeah I don’t think it’s available anymore in Canada I have looked for it. My dad remembers buying it on the Michigan side in the past. this was one of the commercials on his Ed Sullivan The Beatles, DVD series I bought my dad for his birthday or Christmas. I thought it was interesting. That’s why I uploaded it. I heard I think from some other people too. It was hit and miss this stuff . but story time. I used to volunteer at an old age nursing home, and there was an older lady that told me they remembered the first time they had a pizza. they’re from Saskatchewan. They made a trip to Ontario and they went to Toronto and they went to a restaurant there first time they had a pizza was in the 1950s like you said the stores and restaurants were so scarce. Thanks for watching and commenting And I don’t like smelly cheese. If I would’ve smelled that stuff I probably would’ve gagged lol. Me being one of your neighbours would be . oh my God, what died next-door? lol.
