Reminds me of my late dad, came here in 1990 at the age of 18. Did know English and had like $100 that my grandfather was able to get. Also did dishwashing and bunch of other jobs and learned to cook lol. Tho they both went different directions. Amazing vid

I think it's a beginner's mistake to choose expensive ingredients to put in your fried rice. A real challenge would have been your dad judging you all on the same thing: A basic egg fried rice. That can show real skill. We all know how different egg fried rice can be in different places. Some taste burnt or bland, others are just heavenly. However, I would have loved to try each of your creations. Shrimp and crab? Delicious!

Firstly, the dynamic of the siblings resonated with me and my family and cousins. You can tell each of them has their own personality and somewhat fit into the elder, middle and baby child. Secondly, when Chef was describing the dishes I couldn't help but wonder if he was also describing the child who cooked it. When he said, "this one promised something and did not deliver..." that was a deep Asian burn. As a future girl dad, the daughter will never lose in the eyes of her father, but Isa's looked great.
