Cyril the scene-stealer. I’m constantly amazed at how well Juno is assimilating to human life. Someone needs to do some fan-art of baby Juno with her birthday prawn cocktail, candles and all!
"Instead of cleaning it we're just going to turn it over" I knew you were a creature of my own heart from the start but this just takes it to new heights
Juno, I legitimately just learned something! In the US, shrimp cocktail is SO different! Here, we do not have a lovely little salad in a glass. Instead, ours is a glass filled with cocktail sauce (which is like, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, and horseradish), with big shrimp hanging from the lip of the glass. That's it.
Shrimp cocktail is not Always that, literally just go to a pappadeauxs and order a shrimp cocktail, they give you a big cup with salad, some cocktail sauce, and shrimp like this
i just love how the prawn cocktail actually has some kind of memento for you, i love me some cake but it's amazing that your mom came up with that as an idea for a birthday "cake"
She is the CHEF I STRIVE TO BE!!!...She is … the mother I never had. She is … the sister everybody would want. She is the friend that everybody deserves. I don’t know a better person. I don’t know a better person...Lol 👽 love you Juno!!!
For the first time I'm finally realizing how daunting it must be to do anything NOT ONLY with rubber gloves on both hands but ALSO blinded by black sunglasses - and Juno Birch herself does nearly EVERYTHING this way?!? How very dare she!!! I think I'd have a conniption if I had to cook with gloves and sunglasses on 🤣
@@HappilyCarnivore it's not only for videos, she's an entertainer after all so she does wear drag out in real life like any other drag performer but it's not a 24/7 thing of course she posts pictures of her without makeup on Instagram
We'll see Juno in The Great British Bake Off soon. Humans, beware! You'll be dazzled by her stunningly gorgeous and sometimes out-of-this-world recipes ✨️ YES, that's happening!
So far, in this drag version of a baking show, there's Trixie (their easy bake series), Jaymes (their cake series), Juno (their prawn cockails), Silky (their snack shack series and cocktails) , and Violet and Gottmik as a team (their cocktails). Anyone else?
As a kid who never really liked cake that much, but who thought crawfish and shellfish in general was the best thing ever since 3yrs old, young me very much would have been over the moon over the birthday prawn cocktail with candles in it
Juno washing the gloves instead of hands feels very on brand & Cyril invoking chaos in the kitchen, a whole entire level of chaotic, loved this video❤️
I have no idea how she ended up in my recommendations but I’m so glad she did. You are an absolute riot! Definitely need to binge watch your videos. Can’t wait to see what you make next. Have a great day.
I’ve never seen shrimp cocktail made this way but honestly it sounds delicious! The sauce you made is used a lot in America but it’s generally used for chicken tenders, never though about using it for shrimp.
@@Nehu_22 omg, I also wondered the same. When I was in high school I was an exchange student in Argentina (San Miguel de Tucumán) and when my year ended, I loved it so much that I went to university in Buenos Aires. During all those years, no one could ever tell me why it was called salsa golf and still to this day It bothers me trying to find out why! 🤣
Where I live in the US, mayonnaise and ketchup mixed together is called fry sauce. Traditional prawn cocktail (shrimp cocktail where I live) sauce is horseradish sauce and ketchup. I’ve never thought of using fry sauce🤔
YES! A Juno Birch cooking show using vintage recipes from the 1950's, 60's, and 70's, like those vile concoctions our grannies made from gelatin, cottage cheese, and veggies. Perhaps maybe a blancmange for afters. 👽💜
I just wanted to say that I adopted two kittens and I decided to call one Juno because of you. The kitten climbs on me to snuggle and I start singing the theme song... Poor kitten must be so confused.
My brother hates desserts as well (I question if we’re even related 🤣) so my grandma used to make him a seafood quiche with candles in it every year for his birthday. The story about little Juno eating her birthday prawn cocktail reminded me of that!
Im so excited to one day see a full length film based off Juno’s character and story. She lives in this world and her own at the same time and it is so fully realized that it must be in a film.
