How the hell did such a talented chef that brought Asian cuisine to american TV fall into obscurity so fast? I know so many people that are foodies, love to cook and have never herd of Martin Yan.

OrAngeAnArchy this guy is the reason i fell in love with cooking shows when i was a kid. i have no idea why its hard to find him these days. i even forgot him for a while, glad i found him on youtube.

Thanks Mr. Yan, Cutting up a chicken was hard before watching your show. I now have another way to cut up chicken (whole) depending on how much time I have in the kitchen to prepare a meal.

It took me more time than that to separate a saddle leg. I would need like 500 chickens to practice on to reach this level of badassery in the kitchen.

My french chef instructor spoke like that and he was a much more entertain instructor than my current Canadian-born and raised cooking instructor.

I used to watch his cooking programme every week 20 yrs ago. I guess he is not young anymore, therefore he may seem slow.
