Chef, first I would like to thank you with your easy to follow recipes. Last Christmas I made your kikiam and embutido. And it was a great success. My daughter’s future mother in law just loved them ( she’s white). She said it was the best tasting meat loaf she’s ever eaten. As for the kikiam you’re right about the Chinese 5 spice . Naalala ko yung mama ko gumagawa nito and best seller ito sa mga paninda niya laging ubos. JUST A TIP, Yung mama ko binababad niya sa tubig yung malagkit at ipapagiling niya, tapos bibilugin iflat niya lahat sa dahon ng saging tapos syaka niya ilulublob sa boiling water, kapag humiwalay na yung palitaw sa dahon okay na. Kasi sticky yung galapong kung direct sa kamay tapos direcho sa boiling water.

Hey chef thanks for this better style of palitaw coz i make them with no sugar just put regular sugar with the grated coconut and i just buy mochico from pinoy store and mix ...yours looks more delicious with sesame but i will still cook them with no sugar in the rice flour just on ground sesame 🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍😋😋😋😋
