My rendering of Jobim's choro-sambado, which João Gilberto launched in 1958 as ground zero for the Bossa Nova era. Here I lay out the samba rhythms across the registers, melody, chords and bass, to create a solo guitar version that I covered in the Bossa Nova Boot Camp series last summer. DdV

The music of Brasil is awesome Bossa Nova is a big part of that as is mastery of guitar. Doug sounds as good if not better than Charlie Byrd. Superb rendition of a classic.
