Yes, please translate the lyrics. My small choir sing this song here in North Yorkshire, England. We all love the song. We sing it in 'Georgian', well... phonetic Georgian anyway. But, the singers are asking me what the lyrics say.
@David G. It is clear that you do not understand linguistics. I am absolutely not interested in talking to an employee of the special services of the occupying country)))
@@lavriris9343 Two simple questions: what was the name of the state ruled by Queen Tamara? What language was the Knight in the Panther's Skin written in? Kartveli is our self-name, the Greeks called us Γεωργία, Ιβηρία, Κόλτσι, the Romans - Hiberiae. Colchi, Persians and Arabs called us Gurj, modern Europe - Georgians, Russians - грузия, грузины, etc. I hope you can use at least Wikipedia ))))
What do you exactly want to be translated, the actual lyrics? It's a folk song by a local peasant from one of the regions of Georgia. He's singing to his water buffalos about their harsh destiny and fate, metaphorically about his own difficult life filled wish hardships.
Well, the song is in Megrelian, which is a local language in Georgia, related to Georgian proper and together with Svan and Laz languages, forming a group, called Kartvelian. The song is about two water buffaloes and their owner, a local peasant is singing to them. I may not be able to translate the whole thing word by word, but I'll do my best. The name of the song is Chela, one buffaloes' names. The other one's name is Buska.
Thanx lot of,THis is not Georgian languague, this is languague of Province to Georgia Megrelia, but Megrelian languague is awesome Georgian Laguague too ))
