I agree with parts of what you are saying, If you are talented you deserve the credit, yeah i get that, but I don't get insulting someone because they complimented someone who is talented/athletic. You called her statement ignorant, and that isn't ignorant. now if they commented "these guys are better athletes than anyone" then the statement would be ignorant. It also could be her defending dancers, because as we know many times dancers don't get credit for being considered athletes, people don't consider dancing a sport, when actually For me, dancing has been a more difficult feat than any sport ive ever played.
