What are you guys talking about? Kovacic was phenomenal, he was the driving force in the midfield and Arsenal couldn't keep up with his dribbling. He played a huge role in winning the penalty with his amazing run drawing 3 players towards him.

I don’t agree with kovacic rating I think he deserves an 8 he played magnificently in my opinion

First of all congrats blues on our win yesterday KTBFFH !! Just want to say couple of things. For the best part of the season I've been disappointed by Kovacic, however, last night he was superb. Very energetic, did his job to the best of his ability I don't think he gets mentioned a lot and deserves more respect. On the downside I think Christensen is overrated. Every time he has to do a pass he looks shaky in my eyes and I am worried. First half - really bad performance. Christensen was out of position and because of him Azpi left the right side pretty open the first half, the second half the whole team played a lot better and also Arsenal looked ruined after the 2nd goal. I think if we want to improve we need better defenders. In my mind Rudiger is the best defender we have at this point, Luiz is getting old and has always been a wild card. I would prefer Zouma to Christensen for next season and if the ban is postponed I would definitely want to see us signing a defender and a striker.

As the dude with a hand in our first 3 goals, particularly the 2nd and 3rd goals, Kova deserves an 8 or 9. Kante was good but he was the least influential of our midfielders, even though he was good. People are forgetting the times he gave away possession with some abysmal passes in the first half because it's Kante (albeit not fully fit), but they always remember Kova's lack of influence during the first 45 minutes SMH, and rate him based on that. It makes no sense to give Kova a 7 and then Barkley a 6 😂😂

Kovacic- 9 Got us out of tight spaces and really helped the build up play Hazard- 10 what is there to say? Giroud- 9.5 started slow (only criticism especially with the cech save he didn't put enough power) Pedro- 8 positionally inconsistent but all round good Subs: Zappacosta- 6 ok Willian- 7 the urge for goals was seen so.... Barkley- 6 ok

I personally have felt sorry for sarri at times this season..some of it his own doing with his stubbornness (but you have to respect that he struck to his beliefs also) but I think he’ll go tbh,he needs to buy a few players to fully implement his style and he can’t do that. Only time will I suppose. Also I didn’t have a tear in my eye watching hazard speak after the game you did 😭😂

Arsenal played a negative game, 3 men on Hazard and loads behind the ball with nobody breaking the lines in possesion. That was what made the first half flat. Once the game opened up we were ambitious and kept playing on the front foot which is what you want to see. You can only stop Hazard when you push Chelsea back or play a dead game. Giroud screwed up Arsenal's pragmatic plan with a beaut of a header and im glad we didn't just take the old Chelsea pragmatic route and try to hold onto that. A freed up Hazard would always take the game away from Arsenal.
