When we signed Oscar, nobody expected much from him but he delivered from day one. Angelo is giving me those same vibes... Still early, but looks like a star in the the making.

Unrecognisable from the Chelsea of 3 months ago. Renewed vision under Pochettino. Deadwood cleared. A young, lean and talented squad. A genuine sense of unity. And actual goals! What a breath of fresh air.
As an American who supported Chelsea since 2003, thank you for coming to the states to play preseason football. I know we don't deserve it and the European fans will always be better, but it's great to see how much the game has grown here since I first started watching. It was a great match and I can't wait to attend the game in Fedex Field, and maybe take the trip to London one day. Fantastic performance!
Feel the same, was at the game the other night. Last time at Stamford Bridge was in 2019. I got to like premier league soccer when I was stationed in england during the late 80s and early 90s.
@@jameswilliams8715 because it’s their club, I was just a fan since 2003. There are people in England who’s families were fans for 50+ years. Even if you look at the lower leagues, some have connections to when their club started in the early 1900’s. I only became a fan because I liked how Chelsea played.

I'm Brazilian, Angelo Gabriel and Andrey Santos gave an interview right after the end of the game and said that they are loving Chelsea, they are feeling at home playing smiling.
@@MRT8_. Angelo looks exceptional! The Neymar comparisons seemed crazy talk a few weeks back but I can see it. The Sterling miss was criminal, robbed Angelo of 2 assists today. I'm unsure about you lot but Sterling... he can score goals but looks past it now. Not the same player at all.
Casadei is looking fantastic. At first glance, Jackson x Nkunku is a better strike partnership than we've had in years. Gallagher looked strong throughout, opening himself up for passes really well, and lastly, Chilwell's movement was sublime. I know it's only pre-season, but things are looking up.
Chelsea where as good as Wrexham where bad. This isn't two of the same calibre of teams playing. Chelsea players fine the space and pass forward because Wrexham just aren't as tactically aware as Chelsea or have the physical presence or anticipation. One Chelsea player is paid more than the whole of Wrexhams team.
@@MajinPorunga Obviously its pre-season. No one is under any illusion that the rest of the season will be this easy. What I am comparing is the movement of the squad in comparison to last season. Honestly speaking, I think if we played Wrexham last season we would have drawn or won by a single goal. Just my opinion.
Youngsters where amazing its been a while since weve seen a chelsea team that looks like there enjoying playing and playing with such creativity and freedom. Cant wait for mudryk and enzo under poch as well

I can't believe this is my Chelsea playing I had a tear in my eyes watching this game. We have always signed the wrong players I hope this is a change of that for us.

I know this is Wrexham but what’s actually good to see is we’re countering and playing balls through the defence rather than slowing it down passing to the wings then hoping something happens from a cross.
From a United Fan - Its pre-season but the football from Chelsea is looking way more structured , everyone knows there roles and what they need knew to do and good attacking football. Good luck, see you in the prem:)
Some good positive early signs. Casadei looked very competent in the middle. Maatsen, Gusto and Santos looked good too. Nkunku's finish was well taken as well. Having to lose momentum and check back, turn away from goal and still dig a strong, decisive shot out is impressive. Havertz would've fluffed that one big time. Muxh bigger challenge next with Brighton. Let's see what we've got!
@@kylelovett6420I think Moreira, Hall should go on loan yes. Humphrey’s with Fofana injury and Badiashille injury? I reckon he should stay. Santos I think should stay, however a loan does make sense. I think y’all are over looking Carney a little too much. He’s a good talent too. Gabriel, Casadei, Maatsen should stay. Sterling should be sold.
@@idk-ud6kl yes they can compete. Some of them rather. So I saw Casadei made some heavy first touches and other mistakes which would have be punished by bigger teams. But Santos for me was clean, Jackson will flourish in prem, so will Nkunku and Gabriel. Gallagher will come right and a lot of our senior players didn’t play. We are gonna cook. Let’s be hopeful dude

It seems like Chelsea is gonna be a club to enjoy this season. Casadei with lot of potentials, nkunku always a scorer, made one on one look so easy, sterling should be sold pls with immediate effect pls. Jackson deserve some credit, chiwel, chalobah, cucu, and also the finisher himself Ian maatsen. Just a preseason but we hope this continues as league resumes. ❤️
So so happy with what I saw last night. Andrey Santos and Caceidei are still fresh but I like how Caceidei only thinks of forward penetrative passes. He doesn't pass back for lot reason. I love the one two football I saw. Maatsen has a good left foot. He's quite accurate. Overall, it's been a while since I've seen these lasts shoot and score. We suddenly know how to score (except Sterling who imo had the worst game but we'll overlook it for now) That Angelo kid looks so good I hope we don't send him on loan. Nkunku looks amazing as well. Only issue is were not actually a team yet, I saw players s getting in the way of each other. But it's to be expected Malo Gusto is quite an interesting talent isn't he ? He has alright speed, brilliant skills and makes good time behind too. Trevor Chalobar should stay. Look just how good he is in his natural position. Those constant fast and accurate defence splitting passes from his position, where a beauty
I know its Wrexham & I'm aware that this is just pre-season. But, can we take a moment to acknowledge Maatsen and Casadei? Unreal performances! We need to keep these guys!
Don't remember the last time I watched a Chelsea highlight last session. I hope I would do that often this season. Well done boys. Build the winning mindset from this pre-season.
Yes it's Wrexham but they are a side that have confidence and stability after a great season. With so many new players playing for the first time nothing is guaranteed. Positive performance. Casadei is a baller!
Can't remember the last time I saw Chelsea play like this. Soo tactically disciplined. I know 'it's just Wrexham' but last season's team would have struggled to get 2 goals if they played today ngl
Ian maatsen needs to stay at chelsea if sterling is going to keep on being inconsistent in attack. He is an amazing player that carries extremely positively and likes to go forward, he is perfect
