Dani Olmo is right-footed. IMO would complete the squad. Plays very narrow. Committs defenders. Links up play in central areas. Takes pressure off of Palmer and 10x better than Mudryk. If Pep signs him Olmo would be one of the players of the season.

Don't really want more players. We have a first team squad of well over 40 players. We don't know how many of them we can sell. And we really don't need more teenager or very early twenties "talents" that aren't really moving the needle. Only thing we really need is a more realiable keeper than Sanchez. Sanchez - Cucu, Colwill, Tosin, Gusto - Enzo, Caicedo, KDH - Jackson, Nkunku, Palmer Bench: Petro, Veiga, James, Fofana, Lavia, Chukwuemeka, Madueke, Mudryk, Guiu Don't tell me that's not good enough. I wouldn't mind an experienced striker alternative, sure, but this will absolutely do. Edit: And next season, we've got Estevao and Paez. Who do we buy now that they don't blow out of the water anyway? Also: No real feelings about England. Maybe a little bit of a groan. England has been so terrible and I despise Southgate and really would love to see a nice bootprint on his backside. We’re buying youngsters with potential in hopes that in 3-4 years we can flip them for a profit, hence why we are giving them 7-8 year contracts. To be fair, I would have no issue with this strategy if it didn’t come at the expense of buying much needed first team players.

We buy a £30M prospect and sell 2 Academy players. £30M in pure frofit in that year, and the £30M purchase being ammortised over 5 years. That's £24M of income in that year. If it's a like for like type of deal then they'll do it every time now.

George: someone needs to interview Boehly and company about their opinion of Chelsea's collective scouting when they (Clearlake) arrived and what they've done with it since. Personally, I felt that CFC's scouting has been kind of trash for years despite some of the good ones we got under Abramovic (examples: let's go all the way back to the F. Torres purchase and our lack of high quality wingers alongside Drogba for a number of seasons). Someday, perhaps soon, these "gambles" you speak of might begin to feel better as our scouting's track record fills us with some confidence.

Todd, stop. You don't need to buy two dozen new players every transfer window. With the odd exception (Cole Palmer) they always take six months to settle in. By then the season is a write off and the manager is out the door. Just a couple of upgrades every season and a couple of kids from the academy knocking on the door. That's all we need.

As far as England is concerned, against Holland was by far the best game but that was NEVER a penalty. In my own opinion, England has been the most boring team to watch up until this match. Cole Palmer has had an excellent impact when he has played. Maybe Chelsea are once again getting too many players and players we already have at Chelsea should be given an opportunity to prove themselves. 2 areas we really need improvement, a top level goalkeeper but far more importantly is a striker. Jackson is not good enough.
