The photos from the first training day! Seeing Wesley Fofana 100% healthy made me really happy, I know Yan was. Lol. Also Adeyemi would be a great signing, dude has done well for Dortmund.
@@Appiah7420 true bro but I would be scared for misha’s game time but if enzo plays them both we would 100% get top 4/they don’t have to always start together but u know what I mean
@@TT_2clean well some have worse injury records than others, and it does not get much worse than Adeyemi's for sure. Especially for a player who's entire game revolves around kicking the ball into space and sprinting into it. Also cannot see how he can replicate that style in the prem. Someone like Desire Doue, Anthony Gordon would be better fits for Maresca's setup, we already have Mudryk who can do pretty much everything Adeyemi can.
I'd like Adeyemi for that price. Gives cover at both LW/CF, is only 22, and every time I watch him, what stands out is his work rate and effort. Reminds me of Anthony Gordon. Even when he's not involved in the game, he's shutting down passing lanes and throwing defenders off with his relentless pressure.
Honestly, the Dortmund player that suits a more positional play style Is Giovanni Reyna. He spent most of last season sitting on the bench or on loan so I'd bet his price tag isn't much. Can play left wing, an 8, or a 10. Only 21 yrs old too
Sanchez is a good keeper. If you have the ball, your opponent can’t score. Modern keepers have to dribble, pass, read the game, control, build up like a top midfielder.
I remember a time when we barely had left footers 😂😂😂😂😂 I suggest we take Adeyemi on a season long loan with an option to buy or clauses that will trigger automatic purchase
Yes Yan!! Life is too short. We don’t need the negativity (unless it’s constructive rational criticism) but otherwise be positive people. Try it, you never know, your life may improve
Elvis Presley's Vocal Range The voice covers two octaves and a third, from the baritone low-G to the tenor high B, with an upward extension in falsetto to at least a D flat. Elvis' best octave is in the middle, D-flat to D-flat, granting an extra full step up or down... and he was a blues fan! 😎
what a relief to see hands-on coaching on positioning and making play patterns. I am sure with more tactical training and fitness, we will terrorize teams.
I hate to say this because Yan is such a fan Fofana but Tosin looks good in training and you can already see leadership qualities as he bins with the team encouraging them through training making sure that he high fives and encourages all the players as they end the session
Want to be positive and excited about the squad this season Yan but with a new gaffer, so many new players, so much uncertainty about who’s going to play and who’s not, pretty sure we’ll take one step forward and two back. Particularly first part of the season. We shall see. Where’s our new keeper?!
I don't know about Adeyemi. I think if Mudryk finally clicks or has a system that suits him better he'll be clear of Adeyemi. Even if that doesn't happen, is Adeyemi really the best choice? He didn't do all that well for Dortmund and besides pace I don't know what he provides. This isn't the Salzburg Adeyemi anymore. We got offered Sancho and he would be a massively better choice. Jaden Philogene should be available for less and won't have to adapt as much. Jack Clarke wouldn't be a bad choice either. Honestly the best thing about Adeyemi might be that he'll slot in as a backup to Mudryk because as of right now I can't see how Adeyemi starts for us. And if he really is a backup then I'm pretty fine with signing him.
I really hope Chelsea don't lose chukuemeka id rather Chelsea give what we have upfront a chance rather than keep signing its ridiculous at this point maybe a proper striker and that's it
@@Bobbywoodhogan Nah, I just keep reading how people are so excited for ANOTHER new mgr. I don't h derstand this...if things go badly, everyone will be calling for him to be sacked. I'm sick of it...we need to stick things out and stop changing. Poch proved, what no other recent Mgr could, and with a young team full of injuries....that we could play attractive ball and win. My fear is that we play "keep away" but with no attacking which puts us back to Harry Potter failures. That's all
@@gary3944 well we don’t know how it’s gonna turn out Fwiw I did back Poch last season and wanted him to stay but I’m excited cause we have some real talent in this squad. There’s no point going into a new season with pessimism imo.
I would like us to sign karim Adeyemi as that was one of the players I was hoping to sign this season if we get him in then try and sing victor osimhen as the link up play would help us out
im kinda worried about adeyemi's finishing. Theres already enough winger and unfortunately he cant shoot very well. He should stay at Dortmund. Let nkunku, guiu, and jackson plays on top. But I'm excited for maresca. It looks like he can explain things to the players better than previous managers
I prefer Summerville but my way of evaluating players is just looking at their raw stats and highlights I'm hoping that the scouts are using much more sophisticated data when looking at these players I'm okay with him immensely developing I think we have this idea that by 22 they are the player who they're going to be and it's just not true especially in an attacking sense
Same fear I have, and sadly we just lost pochettino who had the most exciting brand of play we've seen in years and now we're back to Harry Potter passing sideways and backwards
@@thierryhenry674 you patronising twerp. I have been playing, coaching or watching football pretty much all my life. I understand plenty. I especially understand it is supposed to be an entertainment, and watching a team make 27 passes in their own half and take it back over the half way line continuously because apparently attempting a risky pass in considered a sin, is not entertaining.
@@thierryhenry674 There's always one of your type in these threads.... Clownshow. I can assure you I understand football better than you, move along insect
Adeyemi, meh. He's young, but has been around as a regular starter long enough to have made a bigger impact beyond carrying the ball. I'm not sure he's the type of player that will add dimensions to his game in a tougher league.
This doesn't sound much like a Masesca signing. If they're really going to "follow the idea" why get someone whose strength is dribbling and who's not known for passing?
I watch the bundesliga and he would not fit the style chelsea are going to play at all. The Bundesliga is tailor made for his play style and he's good but not unbelievable. He could possibly cook in the PL for a Brentford or a Palace but doubt he'd make that sort of move
You people do realise that all this squad churn means that we'll be in the same situation again this season, with the manager taking half a season to distil a team out of the squad. What we should have been doing was simply making a couple of additions to build on last season, not bring in 6-8 new players again.
