He has always been a hot head and a bit of a dick. That dates back to the early days of his career. He is a killer driver but he has always needed to work on the outside of driving issues.

Stuke saying anyone else would do the same is a flat out lie. I've seen many times where trunks/hoods have been loose and the other driver did not protest. The spirit of the rule is to not have a hood fall off intentionally. Part of the blame should be on FD at the line for not taping the hood down for the second run if they deemed it was not properly attached. Chelsea definitely doesn't hold back how he feels.
Exactly. There's been so many cases of trunks flying open and even just bumpers falling off. There was also that run back in Texas 2020 with LZ and Forsberg where Forsberg's car caught fire in the lead. I feel like the rules need to be more specific

This is why I love CD. True to his feelings and can back his shit up. I’m sure FD will have something to say about the threats and the new rivalry but all in all, he won that fair and square and it should have never resulted in a protest.

It’s good to see personalities in Motorsport. It was a lame move by Stuke to protest as he had a incomplete in his lead by his own fault, and the only way this protest works is if Chelsea spins, crashes, or breaks. Even then, it would go OMT. There’s almost zero chance Stuke gets a better result than the original. And to top it off he puts himself in the wall. It honestly looks like he tried to hit Denofa trying to force him to incomplete. Yeah Denofa could have been “more professional” about how he handled this, but he’s not wrong. It’s refreshing to see emotion back in motorsports
If the following driver spin's the lead it's the following cars incomplete. If the lead spins into the follow on their own the lead loses. It looks like Chelsea gave him a rope a dope line and suckered him into hitting the wall.
You must be 12 or something if you are respecting a professional driver who goes out of his way to yell and threaten to fight a competitor's team over something so stupid. The protest happened, done, end of it. Go beat them on the track.
FD chat all went crazy when it was announced the run was protested. NO ONE defended Stuke. That team made a bad call to do this and will face a steep hill to getting any credibility back.

It was very wet out. It may not look like it, but like 15 minutes before this it was like Vietnam outside lol. Denofa just came out swinging and ignored physics and water.

The rule is that if a hood, hatch, trunk, or doors opening in battle it's an incomplete unless it's the result of hitting something. To call it on a hood that's simply flopping is on the extreme side.

I was a fan but actually lost respect for him. He has always been a hot head in his career and rages often on the forums. Bit of personality sure - but this is a professional level sport now and he should act like it. Going over to them to do that over a dumb protest just shows immaturity. He beat them - that is the end of it.

Vaughn is top 3 of all time arguably best of all time, Deane is the MJ of drifting currently viewed as the best all time drifter, Chelsea is a force to be reckoned with might win this year, second in points right now. Adam is developing as we just seen him win this event. I think it’s fair to say the judging is rigged if they weren’t always finishing close to the top. But FD judging is the most scrutinized occupation ever

I don’t condone violence. But Chelsea is 100% right in the sense that a flopping hood is in no way going to be distracting to a professional driver. His feelings are not out of hatred but out of passion for the sport. He’s been a strong advocate for fair drifting with logical rules and calls and has been victim to many ridiculous decisions that the judges made. So I can understand his frustrations with dumb protests. I have met Chelsea a couple times and he’s a super nice guy, so to see him this pissed is not an exaggeration. KEEP DRIFTING FUN.
