His performance at Impericon was actually pretty exceptional considering his vocal style. Especially on the Evolve EP, they've changed their sound quite drastically. And he's also changed his vocal style quite a bit, which I think suits the music better.

They use a vocal backdrop so that Alex can do the opposite screams to the backdrop, so that their live sound sounds like they do on CD. At first I thought it was kinda cheating, but he's still putting effort into screaming, so at least he's not miming or some shit.
