Robert Manzone all the instruments on here sound ALOT cleaner and harder hitting but the vocals dont come close to the first version in my opinion. i like them both tho. i just wish i could put the old vocals on this version and itd be perfect!

I prefer this mixing over the original. This sounds chunky and heavy as hell, especially with the drums, whereas the single was more sharp and kind of static in some parts. Not to mention the drumming on this version is slightly different (in a good way). Some of the fills are a bit more technical and the toms just sound perfect to me. The bass is still audible, so all you guys complaining about the new mix should still be happy about that. The bass is still nuts on the ears.

I have to say I'm really fing stupid for this is the first time I'm listening to your unholy brake lose from above since Satan is bound on saturn .. people say.. you guys have your own unique sound very important.. originality is harder to come by plus you guys are definitely fresh and clean. Your heaviness shakes the core of my subconscious. I notice in the short amount of time listening to you guys each album gets better and better definitely a sign of a talented band and band that cares about its creation. Keep melting my inner ears.. obviously you guys stay true to yourselves. Bought both albums worth every cent. Fan for life

There's actually some difference in the drums on the album version, not just mixing either. There's some different and more epic fills. And the pinch harmonic after the first chorus sounds so much better in my opinion.

Pretty sad that people bitched to Alex to the point he didnt want to be apart of the band anymore...people forget the reason they started liking the band. Alex will forever be the true vocalist of Chelsea Grin, been a die hard fan of CG since DOE..but stopped cause the bands not the same without Alex, so until Alex comes back IF he comes back at some point, ill stick to old school CG..I did give their new vocalist a chance but he's not in the slightest better than Alex imo.

+Scott Smith It's a horrible way to start off a song, because right off the bat you know it's gonna be simplistic and generic deathcore. The album has been out for about a week now, and Skin Deep is the only good song on it, in my opinion.

+Donteatmepls In my opinion, it's their worst album. It's not terrible, the songwriting isn't bad and the production is decent. There just aren't a lot of actual riffs on here, and a lot of the lyrics are somewhat childish. It's overall just not very memorable.

Liking this a lot. I wish every band was like this or was similar. It's sad that most other bands are trying to mix rap and deathcore or even adding CLEANS to a deathcore song, defeating the purpose of heavy lyrics. This band GETS IT. Good song.

There's so many metal bands out there now days that are selling out left and right, starting out brutal as fuck but then growing soft, but CG is doing the complete opposite, with each album they just keep getting more and more brutal, their sound changes so much but you can still tell its them, but they just keep evolving down the heaviest path. We need more bands like CG. Fucking love this album.

Fit For A King is supposed to be American Metalcore, but some of the songs scratched the surface of Deathcore like the last bit of Pissed off. They also stepped up on their album.

They've refined the vocals in some parts of this version, theres drum parts that have been changed and the guitar part you hear at first has been changed, but after comparing this and the original, the original was better. I understand that the original was released as a one off and the rest of the album was being recorded and mixed after the original got released, but this version ruins the song on general, when I hear this version I just hear mistakes.

When the lyric video was released, CG wasnt with artery then and they released it on their own. They werent signed to rise at that time too. So id say that the original was a self release

Has anyone who is complaining heared how the mix destroyed ashes to ashes? At the end of their studio update 1 is a clip from angels shall sin and it sounds so heavy, nothing like the album version. The change here is nothing compared to it
