@@micah.101 Nah, its mostly because we arent fragile muppets who can be bent to think one way because of the media. Everything has been about Chelsea the past week, for what reason? That we have many players? Check how many we had on our book under Roman. That we sell Cobham graduates? We literally only started playing academy players 4 years ago, and if anything look at the contracts we have gioven to Reece and Levi, and commitments we have made towards youngers players and the academy. Its people like you who either dont know anything about how the club HAS been ran and how it is going to be run now. The only difference under these new owners is that we dont spend big on older players such as we did with Lukaku and give them monster contracts, its all incentive based. And that we buy more sought after and expensive youngster to loan out then we did before. Is that really "only caring about the economics"? No, its not being stupid. I agree to an extent that not bringing in experience will hurt us, in fact i think thats whats holding us back. But think logically, if Roman loved the club and erased billions of debt we had to him and spent weeks to find new owners. It makes sense that he chose to sell to the ones that had a vison closest to him and that also would invest in to the club. We know how this club has been run and the similarities between the old and new regime are very big.
