I think you are down playing how impressive Cucurella has been when he has played this season. He is aggressive and full of energy and passion every time he plays. He sometimes makes mistakes because of it but so does every other aggressive defender. If Chelsea are going to try to incorporate Enzo, likely where Gallagher is currently playing, they will need the energy and mobility in midfield that Cucurella provides. Also there are not many top LB options available that would join us, especially none as well-rounded as Cucurella. However, we should still look at signing a younger LB, who may need time to bed in and develop, to replace Chilwell, who seems incapable of providing much for the team through lack of availability and performance.

Nice to see Nonnie showing more maturity with the lay off for Jackson.

Poch next season is a must, we must keep the momentum of the project

This is what I've been saying post afcon. Jackson has been immense and amazing. He has improved game over game. I love what he does as a non-traditional striker, I.e, tracking back, holding up play, and the guy can straight up dribble! Couple that with our track record of spending big on strikers that never work out, I don't see why you'd bring in somebody to try and supersede Jackson. In my opinion, go grab some seasoned veteran that can provide him with some development and maybe a little competition that will get us 10 goals. But I really hope they don't plan to bring in somebody to stifle his development.

Jackson appeared to be outrunning Walker earlier in the season. Walker resorted to pushing him over, which worked, but I was blown away that he actually seemed to be outpacing Walker.

At this point, it is time for us to part ways with Chilwell, he has not been anywhere near the same after his ACL and constantly keeps getting injuries and is unavailable. He is not like Reece...Chilwell's quality is not of the standard to where we can keep him with his injury issues. Reece has undeniable world class ability and can actually defend like a fullback should be able to. I do not quite understand how you can easily say Cucu is on the bubble but not even mention anything about Chilwell. Cucu has undenaibly had a way better season and now has another leg up with his "new" tactical inversion into midfield. Chilwell should def be the left back on the chopping block this summer. Unfortunately, I would love if Maatsen somehow could come back this summer, but looks highly unlikely. We will need to get some competition for Cucu.

What this club needs most to address the injury issues is a better fitness/conditioning manager and/or injury prevention manager. Top teams have one. We don’t.

it's nice to see the preseason tactics come back - albeit at the end of the season. WHat it tells me is that Poch is great at foreplay, great at climaxing... but crap in the middle of footbal coatus and is very disappointing :)

The inverted full back was done in preseason. With all the injuries maybe Poch decided not to do it or didn’t think the players were ready. Listening to this channel is difficult and not sure the understanding of the game is displayed very well. Smh.
