As a history teacher I have to say I’m very impressed with Joey’s knowledge of industrial London. In order to salvage the book value for Enzo considering the transfer fee is amortized over 8 years, Chelsea (at “ seasons end) would have to sell him for £72.5m. I think considering his pedigree we could salvage that kind of fee for him, or at least thereabouts. He would be dynamite in a system built around him

To the Newcastle question, I think a creative like Enzo is more needed. That game requires smarts over brute play. Cucurella and Caicedo can do the bossing, with Enzo providing the flair. I think he would be better for that game , not by much though, than Lavia.

Pointless. Why sell a player who'll be a part of the champions league squad once we're there. We weren't talking like this when he was shining under Potter the only bright spark. This team is for domination of the prem and to compete in the Ucl in the coming years, it's too soon to be wanting to get rid of special players when we'll need a deep squad and under a manager who's working out the best set ups. We'll have 4 top class midfielders next year (Caicedo Latvia Enzo Santos) being 1st,2nd,3rd,4th will not matter when rotation is integral. They'll all play in the coming years with each playing their own role. If you don't like registas cool, but Enzo Maresca most likely sees and like his qualities just like he likes both Caicedo and Lavia for their qualities, with one he's already coached in Lavia.
