Mam I Have 1 doubt?? You told that (lattice enthalpy directly proportional to charge of cation × charge of anion).In 19:50 question 2; Nacl =1×1. You put 2???How it camed mam,we have to add or multiply?? PLEASE CLARIFY MY DOUBT!!

Mam in MgCl2 Mg is having 2 valence electrons and loosing Cl is having 7 electrons in its valence shell by gaining 2 electrons it becomes as 9 v electrons but how can it become stable.Pls reply mam

In mgcl2 there are two cl elements not one. And so mg loosing of two electrons and that two electrons were taken by two separate cl atoms ✌️

Bro from left to right the electropositivity decrease which means in down the group the the e- losing character increase which give that the screening effect is high do the size of the atom is large if larger the size the L.E will be less so Lithium chloride has more L.E
