"Live Again" sums it up ... The music itself is on a repetitive cycle, just as we may be. Doing the same life over and over with slight variations here and there with each cycle ... That pulsating rhythm like ancestral drums and chanting. Again and again as the _algorithm of notes_ lure and lock us into that trance ... Back at it again. The video of the song I mentioned ending as it started

This reminds me that magic and wonder still exist in this world and what potential lies out there and still lies unearthed. This just scratches the surface.
Best show on planet earth. This is the best quality version both visual and audio-wise of their 2022 shows yet! From someone who got to see them at Portola for their last show this year, thank you so much! I've seen a lot of very great shows but this.... *chef's kiss*
Haha, you apparently weren't on the "Don't think" tour (2011/12). That was just a the ride. Precisely selected songs and especially the set was not so fragmented. I really don't like that fragmentation the last sets and I hope they drop it soon. I also don't understand why they don't play Don't think anymore - maybe too many people died of euphoria listening to this demonic song :)
Just got to see them at Colombia this past weekend, and well, there's no other show like this on Earth, I'm still in disbelieve and shaking from the experience, best show ever.
@@AndresTorres3d Is this a normal feeling? I felt like I was the only one who felt like it was life changing magnitude. I'm so glad others feel the same. It's such an odd feeling...never experienced this about a concert and live music before!
@@isobelroe i think that live music has some magic into it. thats why people pay thousands and thousands of dollars to see and hear their favorite artists live. the thing about chemical brothers is that they have mastered the full experience: lights, video and music. i read in one of the comments that their show taps the tribal part of our brains, and make us feel things that this western society has departed us from. i love that explanation.
I'll admit that I didn't "did not" like their music, I just never really got into them and their music wasn't really a part of my life. That said, I had some friends persuade me to see their show in CO and it was 100% the greatest show I've experienced! I was in disbelief the whole time
I am a blues-rock guitarrist, but got into synths and drum machines after hearing "Hey Boy, Hey Girl". They´re the best in their style. A great inspiration for any musician, and a lot of fun. I hate dancing but the Chemical always put my feet to move.
I saw them in San Francisco last month, and I agree wholeheartedly with you. No Reason was just so much fun. The whole set was amazing, but I keep coming back to that track.
I was in this concert, right after I saw Kraftwerk. I was a little bit far away because I wanted an autograph from Ralf Hütter. I waited for 30 minutes and then I recieved the autograph. Though I loved Kraftwerk more, this concert was awesome!
That over the hill stage was such a good idea from Kalorama organization. It was the first time that in a festival you could get access to the musicians. The same happened to me with Bonobo
🙏Thanks JS. Many years of practice :) and the formula is the less you have fun the better the recording, but when you have the opportunity to watch it later and as many times as you want, it pays off
It's really nice to hear them going back and doing the live remixes that they did so much of back in the 90s and early 00s. Their live shows have always been excellent but this one was a nice change of pace.
Hopefully,Iwill be going to their concert at Mt Duneed estate in Geelong,Victoria Australia in March 2024 if I can afford it that is. Regards, Doug Hughes Victoria Australia
