as an English major and former *extremely* pretentious POS when it came to music especially, I can say with absolute certainty that this is one of the greatest love songs ever written, and will stand as a classic for years to come. "and if there's a god then i'm letting him go // all for you, you alone" is one of the greatest lines i've ever seen touch paper and almost everytime i hear it tears come to my eyes. 15/10
I LOVE the way he sings, "and if there's a god then I'm letting him go." And also "Tomorrow, all those stars on your ceiling they glow." So beautiful(:
honestly in terms of the real version of this song the way he and mike work out the instrumentals and stuff together are insane. No one composes songs with the creativity that this band does, its no wonder they take so long in between album cycles besides the touring of course.
Vic is so amazing. His guitar playing is so unique and he doesn't just play powerchords like half of the guitarists in the scene and on top of that his voice is beautiful. It's so rare that somebody's that talented at both instruments and can do both at once. PTV deserve so much more attention than they get.
I love PTV:') but his voice has improved a lot! I never really thought his voice was all that great, but that's what inspired me to keep singing, cos my voice isn't that great either xD
i hope to learn these tabs soon so i can play it on my guitar. it's gonna take some time but i'm willing to do it. just need patience, dedication, and some passion. great song, amazing voice!
Interesting watching Vic's past performances like this and realizing how much his voice and vocal style and strength had improved over time. Inspiring if I must say
I was introduced to this band just last year by my partner and it's now my goal to take him to see them live if they start touring again. I hope they do honestly, because I'd do anything in my power to do something as small as taake him to a concert
I cant ever hear this song again without crying bruhh...I recently moved away from my hometown of thirteen years and on the way out of the city I was listening to this for some reason and now evrytime this plays I actually cry so bad...
It's Japan, they do that as a sign of respect. It may seem weird to not have 30 teenage girls screaming at the top of their little lungs and drowning out the song, but in Japan, it's a sign of respect to remain quiet while someone is performing solo. If it were a large concert however, they'd be going crazy on the other hand.
