Hello Deepa, some peels exfoliate whereas others don't. If you do not want an exfoliating peel you can choose non exfoliating ones. Exfoliation usually starts 2 days after the procedure and lasts for 5--7 days.

Hello, we do not advise to use home based peels without assessing your skin condition. Each skin is different and a fixed percentage of any peel is not a solution for all skin types. Contact time of peel and it's concentration varies from person to person depending upon skin type and skin concern. It's unlikely to produce facial hair damage unless you use it in very high concentration damaging the skin and hair follicle.

Hello Soumya, for minimising freckles you might require 3 -- 5 sessions depending upon the amount of pigmentation. The number of LASER shots required to cover the area remains the same in each session. Hence the rate for each session of LASER toning remains the same.

Hello, home based peels are bit risky in our humid environment. Every week peeling is also not a good idea. Skin renewal usually happens in 28 days. It's better to consult a dermatologist to identify the peels indicated in your case and get treated accordingly. With each peeling, superficial controlled exfoliation happens and naïve skin beneath gets exposed to sunlight, which can lead to burning and redness if done frequently.

Absolutely wrong. Chemical Peeling is controlled exfoliation of superficial layers of upper layer of skin called epidermis. It doesn't penetrate beyond that depth. Chemical peels done once in 3 weeks or so doesn't get absorbed systemically to produce any change in the body.

Hello Vibitha, for scars we prefer to do semi-invasive LASERS to induce collagen remodeling like Fractional CO2 LASER, MNRF etc. We can also do surgeries like Subcision. TCA CROSS is a type of chemical peel which helps to minimise ice pick scars ( small dot like scars).
