I'm very glad you're finding the course useful - many thanks for the feedback! It's appreciated. Thank you. The honest answer is that I don't know about controlling unit ops in Hysys with Matlab. It is possible to write and compile VBA scripts for use in HySys (for example, custom reaction kinetics or custom unit ops), but I've never tried to do it with a dynamic simulation. Good luck!! I used to use MS Visual Basic Express (free of charge when I used it years ago) for writing, debugging & compiling the VBA scripts.
