Something I def consider about a person is how they react when they are being vulnerable or I am, how they are around their friends (if they treat me differently or act differently) and how they treat/ talk about their family

And compatibility without chemistry is like bringing a Pokemon deck to a knife fight. You'll never beat my Charizard.

7:22 was such a good point on asking questions about yourself and how you act during tough moments, even around your partner or not, and how they react to your behavior during bad times

i think chemistry and connection are different too, where chemistry is inherent, connection happens when both people are healthy and open to be vulnerable with each other and trust. something ive noticed a lot recently is that gen z often gets past the chemistry part and then gets scared to show affection required to built connection. a lot of people have been hurt once and now have defensive walls put up that dont allow them to actually have genuine connections. meanwhile the other half of the people only chase after the high of the chemistry. chemistry is reactive, compatibility is proactive while connection is the bridge that connects the two, and a lot of people like to burn that bridge, they rather only have chemistry because you dont have to work for chemistry meanwhile for compatibility you have to sit down and think thats what i think, anyway, great video as always, i pray that your channel gets way more popular !!!

my problem with compatibility is i have someone who wants the same thing as me and has aligned values but had a very different upbringing which makes us clash a lot. although chemistry is like 1000% up. compatibility is also about YOUR value system. you have to see yourself and what you want as valuable and glamorous and not chase after some external measure of success from society standards

hiii! i totally get what you're saying; compatibility is nuanced and it can go way beyond wanting the same things and having aligned values. i feel like this is where intersectionality can come into play, because everyone's experience is different. finding ways to bridge the gap can be hard! I love how you mentioned it's important to see yourself and what you want as valuable!! working through clashes can strengthen relationships, but it's also important to recognize when differences are too much to overcome and can't be compromised (like differences in religion for some people). balance is key for sure when it comes to long-term compatibility. thanks again for your comments! i love when people add to the discussion. i need to watch your vids, your channel seems dope! (:
