I can not imagine what you must be feeling but I think the most important she already have your love and support, sending you a virtual hug, prayer and wishing your mom strength in her recovery.
Thank you so much for making the video. Made the instructions much easier to follow. Watching you make it was a great plus. I am a visual person so it all came together for me. I know there are many grateful women out there thanking you. Going through cancer is a traumatic ordeal and you are making a difference in how women can still look good while healing.
Thank you SO much ❤️ I’ll be getting several of these done over the next week or so, as my mum has her first chemo session yesterday, and I want her to feel pretty when the time comes for hair loss in a couple of weeks 🫤❤️ thanks thanks 🙏
Thank you for sharing. I was looking for a wrap for my cousin that is having surgery this month. I liked the style of you teaching. I understood it from beginning to end. This will make her so happy.
Thank you for this very important pattern - a sure boost for cancer patients! And a warm hug and many thank yous for all the lovely patterns you share - much appreciated!! Blessings to you xxxxx
I enjoyed watching your video and thank you for the calm manner in which you speak. For me it's much easier to follow when there isn't a lot of chatter!
The most confusing part to me was where to place the thick elastic band. But after watching that part 3 times, I think I got it. Thank you very much! It looks nice!
Thank you for taking the time to share your tutorial on making the Chemo Headwear. I was searching to find a project that my quilting group can do for a project this new year and found your tutorial so inviting and easy to follow. Thank you for caring and again for sharing. Happy 2020!!!
Hello, I am making this for my cousin who starts Chemo tomorrow and needed to know how long to cut the 1/4" elastic piece, you didn't say what length it was in the video that I heard. Thanks for the video and your help
The small elastic measurement is not on the pattern or video or PDF. The pattern says cut one, I assumed this was the fabric. The video says cut the wide elastic 6”, but does not say what to cut the narrow. I’m going with the 6”....
Hello, thank you so much for the beautiful pattern. Can you give me the dimensions of the scarf at 11:30 minute, please? That would help me to make sure I pleated it correctly. Thank you and God bless you.
Hello, was looking for patterns to make my mother a few caps as she just started chemo for breast cancer. I came across this one. I loved it, loved the video, but when I tried to download the pattern it would not download for me. I went to my email also as there was another link sent there but could not get that one to download....can you please help? Thank you so much!
So sorry I just saw your comment, did you manage to make the cap? Is there anything I can do for you? You need Adobe Reader and preferably a desktop of laptop to download.
Are written sewing instructions available? I got the pattern and taped it together, but I don't find sewing instructions. The video is too fast for me to keep up with you. :)
You can slow down (or speed up) any video on RU-vid at any point in the video. In the upper right corner click on the setting button and you will find the options there. Mind you, the speech will adjust accordingly and can get awkward so I recommend to watch the video in normal speed as well.
Tudah Rbah (thank you very much for your tutorials). Before I leave, let me tell you, the Name of the Creator is Hayah asher Hayah (Exodus 3:13-14). There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), and this warning is preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures but has been changed in the English Scriptures. (Mechon-Mamre is a free online source for Hebrew-English translation, so you can look up Isaiah 65:11-12 there). Also, all those who receive the Messiah as their Savior are supposed to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animals acrifices, as we are now of the order of MLK TSDQ, to Whom ABRaHM tithed. At the crucifixion, Yah split the curtain, which in Levitical Priesthood means when a High Priest splits his garment, he is resigning. Yah was resigning the Temple and we are now the temple where the RYH HaQDSH (Righteous Spirit of Yah) may reside. Yah split the curtain, with the High Priest of Yah being His Son). When His Son rose three days later, He presented Himself to the Father as First Fruits.
Why do so many 'chemo hats' have fabric down the back of the neck, like it's a costume for The Little House on the Prairie? I have always had very short hair so my neck is used to being exposed; the only time I might need extra protection is on an extremely sunny day and then I'll wear a sun hat with a brim in the same way I always would have. I want something elegant that doesn't shout "This person has cancer" but all there seems to be are these pioneer hats or turbans.
