I am always saying WE GOT THIS in real life and online. We all have our own struggles and I believe we can get through anything together. When I was diagnosed with cancer in September, I thought this was my own struggle but I realised my cancer has affected everyone around me. I am a daughter, a girlfriend, a sister, a friend, a cousin, a grand daughter & more. I know my journey has affected everyone around me and I know now more than ever that I have no choice but to get better. Whatever life throws at us, we are going to get through it together. Idea - instead of giving back to us, what about donating to cancer research instead? I think everyone would be onboard with this. Btw, don't worry too much about the stoma bits & pieces, all pharmacies have supplies if something happens. They have hospitals in Ireland too :) Have a lovely trip!

Don't worry about vlogging, you need to switch off and just enjoy the family. I've heard Irish healthcare is very good. My husband is due a procedure next week and the doctor asked what local hospital he wanted to be under if it is cancer, he said Sutton Marsden, the doctor said he will only go there for treatment, but still has to be managed by another hospital, so I'm sure an Irish hospital could help even if they had to liase with the Marsden. 💙

All the best for this exciting trip! The first time I flew, I was worried my ostomy bag would inflate somehow. Anyhow, it didn't happen but I knew if it could, all I had to do was release the air (I used to call it burbing the ostomy LOL). Can't wait to see how everything goes for you and yours!!

I honestly haven’t had chemo but I did have the C virus and was in the hospital for a while and when I started loosing my hair it felt like it was a reminder of what I was going through and that was tough. I remember standing over the toilet and brushing my hair and crying as I was brushing out clumps of hair. Although it is just hair… I felt like it was taking away a part of my identity. Your hair looks beautiful btw :)

I understand how you feel. I had long, beautiful hair and then had to go on chemo to treat an autoimmune disease. I didn't totally lose my hair, but it thinned so much it looked awful. I felt so ugly. But, I had to reconcile that the chemo was absolutely necessary to live. The loss of my hair in the long-term was nothing. My advice is that if your hair is thinning and not looking good to you, go to the hairdresser. Have them give you a hairstyle that makes the most of your hair. Feel better and be thankful. From one survivor to another.

Ireland has good hospitals. You can be stabilized anywhere. Royal Marsden will be there five days later and it's unlikely that you will need more than a simple consultation for a medication, if that. Actually, the amazing thing is how well you have been. If you have a loose output episode Ireland has medication for that. I would not worry. You aren't on a canoe trip on the Amazon. I get how much anxiety there is the first time away from your Amah and the usual doctors but you are ready. I get excited and nervous whenever I travel too. Just the disruption in routine is enough to set anyone off. But you have to give Ireland and Matt their due. Matt will take the best care of you. He won't let one bad thing happen to you and he's very level headed and protective. Doctors are well trained in Ireland and I assure you that someone there has had something similar to what you have had. And telephones, Tiffany. One Irish doctor can call Royal Marsden to talk to another doctor. They do it all the time. Calm down and have fun. You will be fine!
