when girls speaks about dowry, i also would like to hear about their stands on alimony. Interviewer should have raised the question. PS: I dont support dowry system. Anyways nice to hear this kinds of topics being discussed in public and getting their opinions :) way to go !!
Road side stories are much better than scripted ones.. I'd say stick to these as people or rather younger generation would like to watch and learn from these..
Both working is a nice thing. But when it comes to life with kids, nothing can come equal to a mom taking care of kids. It's not the money that gives virtues and values but the time you spend with them..

Dowry system : 1. It is a caution deposit from girls side to boy. 2. It binds the family very strong as boy can not pay back the huge amount if he wants to divorce the girl. 3. It reminds the girl not to leave the guy as she paid caution deposit (Dowry) 4. Girl feels secure and take rights in the new house (Matrimonial house) 5. Boy feels no burden when paying alimony in case needed Demerit : People who can't afford (huge amount) dowry remains in same class. Question : Now, tell me if dowry system is good or bad in this modern days as divorce rate increases day by day.

India is extremely far from gender equality.. There are way more factors contributing to this.. For example, india is one of the bottom 5 countries in quality of education for youth.. Why is that.. Well, they are the future of this country.. But they arent getting enough from it.. But also gender equality even if its comes up, it will be mostly related to employment oppurtunity and giving equal rights and stuff.. There wont any real change on my mind, because there will always be guys who wanna ravage a girl walking alone in the middle of the night.. Well, there are so many feminist organisations, who wants rights for women to go topless, why not indian woman say that.. its also a right to equality.. There isnt any real reasons that gender equality will definitely benefit this country atleast in every sense.. Just make the country more open, free selfless thought..

Yeah ? My parents had a love marriage and both work had highly successful careers . Still haven't ever heard them ever discussing divorce , they r still happier then ever . Men like u spoil India's name , who just want to dominate women , because u r scared of them doing better then u .
