I'm always amazed how many unforgettable melodies Björn and Benny created. They wrote literally dozens of great tunes, and that's why they must be ranked among the greatest songwriters of the 20th century.

Cher has got some real taste. She respects the original song by not straying too far into reinvention mode, yet still offers a fresh take that almost seems as if it were meant for her to sing. VERY impressed.
i was hoping for re-invention mode and as much as i love Cher this is not here greatest effort. Even Cher admits it was the hardest project she has ever done and has a lot of respect for those girls in Abba.Some things should be left alone.

I'm mainly waiting for Mamma Mia, The Winner Takes it All, and Waterloo. I wish she was doing a new version of Super Trouper (my all time favorite) but I'm pretty excited about what we are getting. And I think I have to agree with alexe that autotune would kill The Winner Takes it All though. I love her autotune style, but NOT for that song.

Cher singing ABBA songs is an actual fantasy come true! As a musican myself it's sad that we don't her her raw, talented vocals instead of autotune effects. However, this is 100% my new anthem!!! Love it!!

It's purposefully done that way! That's Cher's style, she incorporates electro-techno styles into her songs with auto-tune. That's why it's called the "Cher effect." She was one of the first to do it.

Well Madonna is the only artist to get permission from ABBA to use samples, and yours claiming thats Cher makes full album of covers to shade Madonna is just stupid.
Rebelblue Madonna didnt have the permission at first and Abba was pissed, it was quite the scandal till the paid the royalties, both are good, but this is life!!!
When I saw the trailer for the film for the first time and heard Cher sing Fernando, I was really impressed the way she sang it. She didn't try to imitate ABBA. It sounded just like the Cher we're used to!
I don’t know why some have a problem with the auto tune. I think she was the first one to use it on Believe and look at the hit it became. I think the auto tune used adds to it. Also, autotune isn’t used in the whole track, only in bits. She has a great voice autotune or not. Awesome dance track!! Gotta love Cher, timeless!!
Paul She’s been milking it since 1999. A little reinvention is certainly in order. I don’t mind some autotune but contrary to what you think, the autotune is consistently heavy through the whole track, not just “in bits.” I still love this but it’s just like “Really Queen? We’re still doing that?” Her last 3 albums over the past 20 years have been so autotune heavy, like I said I don’t mind it much, but it is getting really tired and unnecessary.

I love the vocal sampler she uses again. It was her trendy thing. And Cher is such a good singer. Who cares that she makes her vocals sound like a robot. I love it!!! It proves she's confident. Super Cher!!!!!!!
