Fast forward to today's time and Dinah Shore would be all over Twitter, saying she bodied shamed Cher. Miss the days when one could just have a regular conversation with no consequences.

but in reality Dinah doesnt know what shes talking about...as I stated..Cher wasnt eating from stress...and she would be in the bathroom throwing up from the stress before a show...doesnt matter if you can eat anything you want but because of stress you cant eat or you are throwing it up..
Such a superficial conversation about physical appearances. It makes me think how Karen Carpenter would have taken an interview like this to heart and felt she needed to lose some weight.
Superficial and brazen. Cher looked s t u n n i n g and first thing the interviewer did was to attack her on her weight and asking her what she eats and her diet etc. Why? You can see that Cher was really annoyed by it but too polite to tell her what she honestly thought about that questions.
Cher is SO beautiful here, but she is also being so reserved! Don't you think so? She's being polite and toned down just to match Dinah's demeanor. I love everything Cher, but surprisingly I'm finding this interview a bit awkward and boring. :(
It is. First thing she asked was about Cher's weight, what she eats and her diet! WTF? I think this would considered quite rude nowadays because it IS...
Gosh, these were different times when a beautiful, quite skinny lady comes on stage and the first thing was asking her abbout her WEIGHT! I am glad that has changed. It really doesn't f...ing matter!
Cher at a time when her "natural beauty" shown through ... Her talents still hold up & she is quite the personality ... Now in 2024, Cher in her late 70's, looks like a caricature of her former self ... Her face/makeup looks like a 'mask', not a reference to her movie ... She looks, IMHO, a bit ghoulish, pulled, stretched, molded etc ... As has been said, two things will survive a destruction of the World = Cher & cockroaches ...

they are throwing shade at Cher for her weight because shes not eating from stress...she may be able to eat what ever she wants ...but if stress is keeping her from eating does it matter..????I have had the same problem....Diana Ross was also in the same situation...Some people cant stand the smell of food because of stress....and some people eat like a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys from the stress..I loved the 70s and the skinny women....now all the women are fat...and flaunt their enormous behinds..(loggins)
What CHER needs to say is "I eat Jack in the Box tacos ..." "But I only eat 2 and that's it". And if she eats spaghetti , I'm sure she only eats half of a restaurant portion . Etc. No mention of her flat chest .
