The Paley Center for Media is pleased presented the world premiere screening of the documentary, Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion rom acclaimed filmmaker Matthew Miele. The screening was followed by a once-in-a-lifetime conversation with Bob Mackie and some of his closest friends and collaborators including icons Carol Burnett, RuPaul Charles, and Cher. Here are snippets where Cher speaks about meeting and working with the fashion designer throughout her career.

So magical! I remember every Sunday night my Mom and I glued to the TV set waiting for Cher’s intro to see what awesome outfit she’d come out in. Thank you Bob for all the wonderful images you’ve given us over the decades.

Do the interviews continue with the other performers, almost an historic gathering of great talents. For me the world of comedy began with Carol Burnett on the Garry Moore Show and she's kept us filled with joy ever since.

Bob Mackie was working professionally in 1961 RuPaul was 1 year old at the time Bob has never stopped working since then. He is the master.
