Kobouzan Park is a popular spot for walkers and hikers to enjoy both cherry blossoms and hiking in the mountains. It is easily accessible by car or by train, and is one of the best places for cherry blossom viewing in Kanagawa Prefecture.
This time, we will walk from Odakyu Hadano Station to the top of the mountain to visit the famous cherry blossom spots in Koboyama Park. The 10-kilometer round-trip walk will take about 3 to 4 hours at a leisurely pace. There are many quiet resting and napping spots along the way, and at this time of year, the cherry blossoms and fresh greenery are beautiful, making for a refreshing spring-like mountain walk.
Beyond the cherry blossom scenery, you can see the Tanzawa massif and Sagami Bay. This is one of the few places in Japan where you can enjoy both cherry blossoms and mountain hiking scenery at the same time.

Relatively few people, so you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing at a leisurely pace 🍙.
For once I don't see any lines! The only observation deck was densely populated 🔭.
There is also a traverse course, a great spot for mountain hiking enthusiasts 🏔.

Hadano Station: Approximately 70 minutes from Shinjuku Station by Odakyu Odawara Line rapid express train.

No.3 🥉 Yoshinoyama (Nara Prefecture): 30,000 cherry trees of 200 species, including the white yamazakura, dye the mountains and valleys pink.
