It's great to view the addictive scenario of two young dancers enjoying themselves with the mambo/salsa wonderful rythimic music of "Cherry Pink & Apple Blossom White", with the band in complete cohesion with the dancers. Golden words by Peter E. Farrar.
Wow! The guy not only dances well, he knows how to dance. I like his courtesy shown to the girl, by not out dancing her. Cherry pink and apple blossom white in cha cha cha is just a killer.
It's cherry pink and apple blossom white When your true lover comes your way It's cherry pink and apple blossom white The poets say The story goes that once a cherry tree Beside an apple tree did grow And there a boy once met his bride to be Long long ago The boy looked into her eyes, it was a sight to enthrall The breezes joined in their sighs, the blossoms started to fall And as they gently carressed, the lovers looked up to find The branches of the two trees were intertwined, And that is why the poets always write If there's a new moon bright above It's cherry pink and apple blossom white When you're in love.
Danceable tunes!!! Watch the conductor in red pants (Dsnny Malando) and the young man dancer in white shirt .. truly graceful .... would love to dance with them :))
Well danced and performed.. Hadn't heard this song since about age when multicultural groups of migrants would gather in our partially constructed Aussie bush home to sing and dance all weekend after work. A Russian manwith his impressive looking accordeon and his attractive blonde Russian wife would put their hoard of numerous kids to bed and then rock up to give a brilliant rendition for us all of this song. He played and sang bits, whilst she sang others and she would dance in between. It was great until I saw my father, also a good dancer, jump in and dance with her, as her husband smiled, playing his accordeon with such gusto. But, I knew there would be trouble brewing with mum, who was a crap dancer, because she would get jealous of the Russian lady and my father dancing with her just as provocatively, sort of flamenco like Latino showing off....it was great to hear all this musicperformed in such a natural spontaneous way, not by artists on a stage, but just ordinary folk having a great social time together. The half constructed house was uncomfortable, freezing cold, with window whistling through the ceiling, rattling the windows and, once a wall fell down and they yelled "Earthquake...War... Get down low, everybody..." But they then reconstructed the fallen wall, brought down more strange ethnic dishes nobody dared eat but felt obliged to taste and say they loved it, even if it was awful eg very hot chillies, these disgusting black German sausages, some gluggy rice wrapped in grapevine vine leaves Greeks brought, which I thought was particularly uncouth, since one of my childhood tasks was to pick vine leaves to feed our animals on and I simply refused to eat the same for as our goat are, as I though we humans were better than mere animals..Then they'd bringout these home made brews and alcoholic beverages for all to sample, like impromptu cultural wine tasting sessions, where they all have their assessments by gestures and expressions, since nobody could understand the many languages others spoke there.I noticed they would all indicate a particular drop was the best an hand me a bit to taste, as European kids are given alcohol from a young age, to help them grow big and strong, which is why they seldom become alcoholics, like Aussie do. It was foul. Like drinking Mineral Turps or something in Dad's she'd....But, I knew I'd co a slap over the face if I didn't say it was great. Just to be polite and sociable. Then they'd give us bottle of it and, t the first opportunity, mum, who hated alcohol wild mix it in with the pigs and other farm animals food and we' d laugh watching these inebriated farm animals. Country life got a bit feral at times , my exactly a glamourous club scene to "make" out there, but they still had their stars they would all Cher on and force to perform. If they knew you could play or dance or sing or tell jokes, good stories or were simply considered the most attractive female or hot male to have strutting and swanning around, you were basically stuck with doing that for life, no avoiding them. Unless you left ton for good. After which suddenly, nobody had ever heard of you, if you returned. Instant fame vanished as fast as you got it. You are only as great as your last performance.
Great job!! … This beautiful song can be played on your “EastTop harmonica" in the key of “Eb” …. Go ahead and play along with this great song. Eli: "King of Rock & Roll Harmonica"
