@YouShouldBeScared - Yeah, taken at the Cherub Nationals in Yeppoon, Queensland Australia. It's fantastic sailing up there when the chop doesn't get in the way.

Interesting how is camera is farther outboard on Stbd than on Port.

@supinetube yeah you can see in the video that 'our' wave just appeared from nowhere. Flat water to a vertical lump in a split second. At that stage I was not l the way back. The trapeze line was all the way down and if I went further back I would have been standing straight upright. A problem we addressed before the next race!!

No. Contour GPS. Quality just as good, can shoot 1080HD, take pictures etc. range of formats. Has in-built GPS so you can track your speed and elevation when you watch the videos back. the lens can swivel 180 degrees so mounting anywhere is not a problem. And less expensive than GoPro!

Can it video at 120fps too ? I might get one.

@cherubman3052 My camera has a GPS built in to it. Our top recorded speed during the event was 18.6 knots

@Chrisgamee wasn't being harsh, I couldn't hear a word the helm was saying! Sounds like I was being harsh but we were just being competitive.

The skipper tried righting the boat, said he couldn't with the crew in the boat. The crew was not in the boat.

pull the centerboard up just a touch tot he deak coz the you let the boat breath and power up drives better though the wave up wind and downwind
