I agree. Carne Vale/ Farewell to the flesh makes me think of a person's family saying their goodbyes to them at their funeral, and Stellarum Salve/Hello Stars makes me think of the person's dead relatives greeting them in the afterlife.
well you know how caliborn is the bad side and calliope is the good side? maybe this song is caliborn's positive impression on death, cause it indeed is more upbeat than carne vale,, and carnev ale is caliborn's negative impression on death? idk just a thought
+ashton yeah like in the homestuck universes(I can't believe I have to make that plural :P. ) there are pros and cons to being dead, pro you are mainly free from danger, but you can't affect or change Anything at all
if callie did anything like "taking control", it would be way out of her class description. Muse isn't exactly described to the letter, but we know it's the most passive class there is, while also being a master class. So maybe this plays while Alt!Calliope (passively) does the spacey thing.
this is like the happy, Callie version of Carne Vale. like if Callie had overthrown her brother we would've heard this in a flash replacing Game Over (or atleast thats how I like to see it)
Not sure if you already know this or if I’m missing a joke but the songs in cherubim are in pairs, where one song mirrors another song, one representing calliope and one representative of caliborn, until finally eternity served cold, where it symbolizes caliborns predominating
fell in love with the first girl i ever had a massive crush on while listening to stellarum salve on repeat during a field trip in 8th grade. this song changed my life lol 🥹
wait, okay, so i need someone who’s actually good with music to explain to me how they took the same melody but made it happier and brighter. my guess is that they changed the key from minor (carne vale) to major (this song), but i may not be correct. can someone help me out here please? (aspiring musician here lol)
im certain i heared a part in there that sounds like a song that plays when you play MC, and another sounds a little like Undertale at 1:49 .... o.o but i could be mistaking... OK i DEF heard the MC part again at 2:56 - 3:12-ish o.O
